Innovation, space and robotics

Led by Dr. Ayelet Weizman

The innovation, space and robotics path is for teachers or educators who wish to get to know the most advanced technologies offered today for learning (such as robots, AI and IOT), and learn how they can be used in hybrid learning, while developing 21st century skills. The concept of the path is to make use of the space field as a context, or as an inspiration and example for groundbreaking initiatives that use advanced technology to overcome complex challenges. The emphasis in this path is on facing challenges in an era of uncertainty and in a world that changes frequently, in parallel with the rapid development of technology.

The students in the path experience a variety of tasks that require skills and competences such as problem solving, collaborative learning, computational thinking and self-directed learning skills  - skills required in the 21st century. The program includes collaborative projects with associations that promote education in the fields of technology and space, such as: SpaceIL, DMars and the Israeli Space Agency.
